A breath of fresh air.

Yesterday was an interesting day to say the least. There was a little upset in our evening class but it happened to work itself out for the best. It was finally brought to Bikram's attention that something is wrong with the yoga room...there's not enough oxygen in there! So he had the man who built the room come last night to see what the problem was. Turns out there was about 93% humidity in the room- no wonder we were gasping for air. I guess he already fixed it but it's hard to tell for me because the back is the worst and I won't be in the back again until next week. But today's classes did seem pretty good in the front of the room.

We had posture clinic for 3 & 1/2 hours this afternoon, I did Standing Bow. I did pretty good, every time I get up there it gets just a little bit easier. We will have lecture tonight, maybe a movie. Last night Bikram lectured for about 2 hours then we watched a movie until 2 am. I stayed awake for as much of the movie as I could :) And boy did I sleep like a log once my head hit my pillow.

Not much else to mention right now. I haven't been writing as often as usual because I've been using my free time to read. It works great to give my mind a much needed break. And as some of you know I love border collies, so that's what I read about. It makes me miss mine so much! But thanks to Linda I have an adorable little stuffed border collie sitting right next to my bed.

Talk to y'all soon!

93% ???? At 105 degrees, that gives a heat index of 216 degrees. That's just insane. The temperature would have to come down to about 90 degrees to make the heat index the standard 120 that there is in a regular studio class.

It's a good thing Bikram investigated. There could have been serious problems if the room stayed as it was.

Yeah serious problems were already starting- I think almost everyone has and has had a heat rash which is due to not only heat but lack of oxygen. So yeah, it will be much better now.
